The Town of Oro Valley

The Town of Oro Valley has allocated 2.5 acres of land to build the Memorial. We received an outpouring of generosity and support by the surrounding communities, but we have a long way to see this project to fruition.

Thank You To Our Builders

Honoring Purple Heart Recipients
The Arizona Heroes Memorial proudly honors the Purple Heart Anniversary, a day dedicated to recognizing the bravery and sacrifice of those wounded or killed while serving in the U.S. military. Established by General George Washington in 1782, the Purple Heart symbolizes courage, resilience, and the profound cost of freedom. Each medal tells a story of sacrifice made in defense of our nation’s values and safety. On this anniversary, we remember and pay tribute to these heroes, honoring their enduring spirit and the sacrifices that have shaped our country’s history. Their legacy inspires us all to cherish and protect the freedoms they fought to secure.
